How to go to Mousuni Island (route direction)?
Mousuni island is located in south 24 Parganas Namkhana district, multiple ways you go to this island like buses, bike, private car, and trains also.

By Bus:
If you want to go to Mausuni Island from Kolkata by bus, Bakkhali buses come daily from Kolkata Esplanade via Diamond Harbour, Kakdwip, and Namkhana.
you have to get down at 7-Mile Bazar or 10-Mile Bazar. Then you can get toto or a van to go to the ferry port. Then you will cross the Chinnai River by boat and come to Mausuni Island Camp which you have booked.
By Bike:
You can directly come to Mausuni Island by bike, first take Diamond Harbor Road to reach Namkhana and cross Hatania-Daunia Bridge to reach Namkhana.
Then go to the 10-mile or 7-mile ghat, take the bike by boat, and cross the Chinai River to arrive at your booked Mausuni Island Camp.
By Car:
You can go to Mausuni Island by your private vehicle, and take Diamond Harbor Road to reach Namkhana. Reach Namkhana and cross the Hatania-Dauniya Bridge. After reaching Namkhana, 7 miles or 10 miles to reach the car park, the river cannot be crossed here by car.
10 mile ghat is Patibuniya ghat and 7 mile ghat is Huzzaitar ghat. Now you will cross the Chinai River by boat and come to Mausuni Island Camp which you have booked.
By Train:
Coming to Mausuni from Sealdah is very convenient, You have to catch Namkhana Local from Sealdah there are many trains throughout the day.
The train will take around three hours and then you have to take Toto to reach Bagdanga Ghat or Huzzait Ghat or Partibuniya Ghat. Then you will cross the Chinai River by boat and come to the Mausuni Island Camp that you have booked.
